Fower Study

A little bit about these flowers. The Fijian name is Vutu, I do not know the English or Latin names. I used a black back drop with LED and incandescent light. My camera was tripod mounted with 8-20 second exposures at F22.

Amazing! The flowers look almost like they are made of fiber-optic material. Very unusual, and beautiful.

They remind me of fireworks also! Your lighting and backdrop were the perfect way to shoot these! They look like the silk tree's flower, what we call mimosa in the southern US.

WOW! When they were first loading, I thought fireworks, they also remind me of fiber optics..what gorgeous gorgeous interesting flowers I love them, and your captures of them are stunning~I hope you have them framed and hanging~they are fantastic! I wish I could grow them! :)
