Sky Watch Friday

It's Sky Watch Friday and time to see what the sky has been doing all over the world this week. Last week there was an amazing 373 sites posting images of the sky from their parts of the world. This week I give you more reflections of blue. Even though there is a perfectly good scientific reason the sky is blue and the sea is blue, I am still in awe. If you take a glass of sea water it is clear and if you get a glass of sky it is also clear. Yet when you put them together they turn blue. Amazing and beautiful.

You can click here for more Sky Watch Friday photos or click the banner on the side bar. Don't forget to look up and enjoy the sky.

Cheers

Every time I try to get a glass of sky it escapes before I get the lid on it, so I never really have time to check out it's color. I will have to take your ward that it is clear.

Nice shots, Happy SWF.

Can't get much bluer than that! And the touches of pink make it look more blue.

Sky and earth are one - and they meet on the ocean. The tranquility feels breathtaking in these pictures.

Happy Skywatch Friday!

"Blue, blue. My world is blue." And, I don't mean "sad."

Lovely, lovely photos. I really liked your 'glass full of sky' concept.

It IS kind of amazing, but you have made excellent use of those varrying shades of blue in these photos. I think I love the last one best, but I'm not sure. All wonderful.
