Sky Watch Friday

Welcome to Sky Watch Friday, the best place on the web to see the sky around the world. Have a look for yourself just click here.

The sky, we look to it for comfort in times of need. In hopes a greater sum will present itself for our salvation. We look up for inspiration and consolation
Rainbows full of color, hope and beauty.
Blue sky that never ends. White clouds you make your friends.
When the sky turns dark and threatening we fear that which we have no control.
Rain comes and quenches the earth bringing with it floods of life and death.
Light so bright it will blind and sound so loud the world will tremble.
A vastness of space that knows no time. Void of our life yet our life it gives.
The sky, we look up to it in wonder. Touch it, we never will, yet surrounds us always.
The sun and stars are forever our companions. Know them we will not.
The sky, forever in its debt, forever in wonderment.

FW: What neat shots for SWF. The three shots are so different. I love the way the tree is grabbing the Moon.

Oh, wow, Callan - I hadn't seen these before. The last one is good - but the first two are magnificent. Those clouds look amazing and that second shot looks like God is shining down upon the landscape. The texture and lines on the ground firmly plant the photograph and the zoom effect gives it a dramatic sense of scale.
